Walker was interviewed to give her expert opinion on why battered women and rape victims kill their abusers.
Kim Kardashian had been contacted by various women serving long prison sentences. Dr. Walker reviewed information about two of these women and then offered her opinions of how their cases were handled by the justice system. She was flown to Hollywood for the interview. The film features Kim’s interviews with these women in prison and her work to get them released. She is now in law school gaining the skills she needs to continue advocating for prison reform.
